Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with mechanical, electrical, and PLC programming skill sets.
  • Demonstrated strengths in customer service; interpersonal skills; oral and written communication; sound judgment; motivation; planning and organizing; professionalism; quality and productivity; safety; adaptability; reliable attendance and punctuality; dependability; initiative; and innovation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 3 years of technician experience in the plastics industry.
  • Own your tools and use them safely and effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automation and production assets.
  • Execute equipment set-ups and preventive maintenance routines.
  • Diagnose and resolve processing issues stemming from equipment conditions.
  • Leverage a computer-based inventory system to create reports and locate spare parts.
  • Complete daily work orders and activities within Maintenance Connection.
  • Partner with maintenance/production teams and assist in training other employees as needed.
  • Meet reasonable time standards established by management through verbal and written instructions while producing quality results.
  • Use required safety equipment, follow all safety rules, and carry out tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Adapt to schedule changes as business needs evolve.
  • Maintain safe, clean, and orderly work areas; follow all company policies and rules.
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
