Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift
About The Position
Eaton’s Electrical Sector (Crouse Hinds, B-Line and Oil & Gas business) is currently seeking a 2nd Shift Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is based at our Amarillo, TX facility. This position requires ability to be responsible for installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of facility equipment, plant and associated systems. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
- 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Amarillo TX Loc will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in metals fabrication.
- Able to utilize hydraulic schematics, pneumatic schematics and electrical schematic
- Familiarity with waste water treatment
- Ability to modify or program PLC’s and HMI’s a plus
Responsibilities
- Install equipment/machinery.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Complete/maintain maintenance logs and associated documentation.
- Maintain and secure tools and repair equipment. Maintain/clean work areas.
- Communicate equipment/plant status as required.
- Maintain and follow all safety requirements and ensure compliance by maintenance personnel.
- Operate a variety of lifts etc.
- Work with Operations team members and leaders in work area to ensure uptime on equipment and repairs complete and effective with operations team.
- Share learnings and train/cross train with coworkers to ensure knowledge is shared by maintenance team.
- Other duties as assigned.
