About The Position

Electro-mechanical Maintenance technicians combine knowledge of mechanical technology with knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits to operate, test, and maintain unmanned, automated, robotic, or electromechanical equipment. Because the Electro-mechanical Maintenance Technician has specialized knowledge and expertise, they must be willing to mentor and assist in training others.

Requirements

5+ years experience working in a manufacturing environment in an industrial maintenance roll or similar
Knowledge in electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
Ability to work independently demonstrating strong technical knowledge and good communication skills.
Must be able to work in a fast pace environment while maintaining quality and safety standards
Sound communication skills and excellent problem-solving ability
Possess skills required to improvise and adapt where needed
Analytical thinker, which utilizes data to drive decisions.
Strong team leadership and team work skills
Associates Degree or High School Diploma and relevant experience required.

Actively participate in stopping and correcting unsafe conditions and behaviors.

Help in the relief of breaks as needed.
Maintain records and documentation.
Safely troubleshoot electrical (AC/DC), pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems associated with a wide variety of production equipment.
Read and comprehend manuals, blueprints, drawings, and schematics for troubleshooting and installation purposes.
Troubleshoot automated valves, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, pressure/temperature measurement, PLCs, Electronic Drives, PID controllers, and analog control systems.
Perform the preventive maintenance required as per OEM manuals.
Fabricate replacement parts and make modifications to equipment using shop tools used for various disciplines including Electrician, Millwright, welding, and pipefitting.
Develop and improve process documentation, quality plans, training, and operating instructions as appropriate.
Have the ability to work by themselves or in a team environment and follow all safe work practices.
Available for after-hours call times and work overtime as required.
