About The Position

Koehler Instrument Co., Inc. is currently seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician. This role involves building assemblies and entire laboratory testing instruments. Responsibilities include installing components such as heaters, temperature controllers, PCB boards, LCD displays, and wiring.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to build instrumentation utilizing Engineering documents such as; Schematics, Work instructions, Assembly drawings, and Assembly procedures.
• PC skills with the ability to install various firmware/embedded code.
• Precision soldering skills and strong chassis point-to-point wiring skills are a must.
• Electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills, including light plumbing and fittings assembly.
• Ability to Test and validate the proper function of finished instruments.
• Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to lead and guide.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC/Refrigeration, system components, and flow working knowledge are a huge plus.
