About The Position

KLA is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Assembler with some familiarity or interest in tubing and plumbing to join their team, specializing in the assembly of semiconductor equipment. This role is ideal for someone eager to start a career in the semiconductor industry and develop hands-on skills. The assembler will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems, including tubing, plumbing, wiring, and other key parts, for complex semiconductor equipment. This position is for the 2nd shift, with hours from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience.
  • Basic experience or familiarity with plumbing systems and tubing (e.g., installation, cutting, bending, or fitting).
  • Experience using basic hand and power tools.
  • Knowledge of standard mechanical fasteners (nuts, bolts, screws).
  • Ability to use basic measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, or torque wrenches.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical components and assembly techniques.
  • Experience with or willingness to learn basic soldering, wiring, and electrical assembly.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with semiconductor equipment or related industries.
  • Previous experience in a cleanroom or highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assembling mechanical components and systems, including tubing, plumbing, wiring, and other key parts, for complex semiconductor equipment.
  • Performing tasks related to tubing and plumbing, such as installation, cutting, bending, or fitting.
  • Utilizing basic hand and power tools for assembly.
  • Working with standard mechanical fasteners (nuts, bolts, screws).
  • Using basic measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, or torque wrenches.
  • Performing basic electrical assembly, including soldering and wiring.
  • Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
