Requirements

  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience in electronic assembly.
  • Proficient with hand tools and electronic assembly equipment.
  • Comfortable working in a team-based, fast-paced setting.
  • Skilled in inventory cycle counts and basic problem resolution.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high quality standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with clean room protocols.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and 5S practices.
  • Ability to work under a microscope for complex assembly tasks.
  • Experience writing engineering change requests.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble electronic and mechanical components using precise techniques, sometimes under a microscope.
  • Apply 5S and lean manufacturing principles to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient workspace.
  • Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and document any non-conformances.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve production issues and meet deadlines.
  • Participate in continuous improvement programs to reduce cycle times and eliminate waste.
  • Accurately pick inventory parts and assist in packaging large instruments for shipment.
  • Work in a clean room environment and follow detailed assembly documentation and procedures.
  • Complete engineering change requests to address production or design issues.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support team goals.
