About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembling both mechanical and electrical components and systems, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality. This role involves working with various tools and machinery to build and inspect electro-mechanical assemblies according to specifications and standards.

Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electro-mechanical assembly is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly or a related field.
Physical Ability: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience in Electrical/Electronics Assembly: Demonstrated experience in assembling electrical and electronic components is highly desirable.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Certifications: Certification in electro-mechanical assembly or related fields is a plus.
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with ERP systems and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Assembly of Electro-Mechanical Components: Assemble mechanical and electrical parts and components according to engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
Quality Inspection: Perform visual and dimensional inspections of assembled parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Use of Tools and Equipment: Utilize hand tools, power tools, soldering irons, and testing equipment to assemble and test products. Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.
Read and Interpret Drawings: Accurately read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics to understand assembly requirements and procedures.
Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve assembly issues, working closely with the engineering and quality teams to implement corrective actions.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, inspection results, and any modifications or adjustments made during assembly.
Adherence to Safety Standards: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly processes, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members, engineers, and supervisors to achieve production goals and meet deadlines.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on assembly tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
