Requirements

  • 1-2 years of related experience in a related role
  • Experience crimping lugs on wires
  • Able to identify hardware type, length, and size
  • Knowledge of proper soldering techniques
  • Ability to follow wiring procedures
  • Ability to recognize wire type and gauge
  • Ability to safely operate small hand and power tools
  • Ability to work in all phases of assembly

Responsibilities

  • Drill and tap holes
  • Crimping lugs on wires and following wiring procedures
  • Building and interconnecting final assemblies and sub-assemblies using production drawings
  • Inspection of process and units
  • Obtaining parts and supplies using proper procedures
  • Read and interpret Bills of Materials
  • Read and interpret travelers and schedules
  • Read and interpret schematics and assembly drawings
  • Completing paperwork as required
