About The Position

You will be the Electro Mechanical Assembler Senior for the Electro‑Mechanical Assembly team with Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) in Archbald, PA. Our team is responsible for building precision electro‑mechanical assemblies, harnesses, and circuit cards at the Archbald facility. As the Electro Mechanical Assembler Senior, you will be responsible for assembling components and sub‑assemblies while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent with 1+ years of related electro-mechanical assembly experience
  • The ability to interpret electro/mechanical assembly drawings and follow work instructions
  • Ability to make stencils for marking operations and properly apply required marking to printed wire boards and assemblies
  • Work independently with minimal input from Manufacturing Engineer, Supervisor, or Group leader
  • Experience using a variety hand tools and measuring devices
  • Ability to become certified in JSTSTD Coating
  • Ability to become certified in any required skills or processes
  • Ability to support a flexible work schedule supporting overtime, off-Fridays, weekends, and/or alternate shifts to support product schedules as required
  • Assist in the training of employees as assigned
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must be a US Citizen due to facility access

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Circuit card manufacturing experience
  • Previous certification in industry standards

Responsibilities

  • Perform hand population of complex circuit cards and the soldering and touchup of new and existing product
  • Form Components and hand or machine populate circuit cards
  • Perform detailed soldering operations on micro and sub miniature components and parts as assigned
  • Building of precision Electro Mechanical Assemblies, wiring of assemblies and sub assemblies
  • Performs a variety of Conformal Coating Operations including but not limited to Printed Wire Boards
  • Assembler would operate various equipment such as but not limited to selective solder machine, wave solder machine, wash and coating equipment
  • Responsible for setting up and operating equipment to properly process PWB for the Conformal Coating Process
  • Performs manual spraying of circuit cards, including coating mixing and validation to requirements
  • Perform work while utilizing drawings, schematics, engineering documentation and models
  • Ability to complete complex rework operations to written Engineering direction
  • Achieve the defined quality and HPU standards for assigned work
  • Ability to perform all jobs within work area
  • Supports continuous improvement activities and participates in problem solving activities
  • Contribute to a safe working environment by following safety requirements
  • Work in a team or solo environment to assemble components and main assemblies
  • Diligently follow work instructions to ensure product specs, performance targets and quality levels are met
  • Work to ESD Requirements
  • Use hand tools, computers, and other equipment to manufacture the product
  • Ability to multi-task, sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
