This role is responsible for executing plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning electrical systems in an industrial/manufacturing environment. The Electrician will interpret and create electrical drawings and schematics, install electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment, and connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components. Key responsibilities include preventing system breakdowns through routine inspections and replacements, troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions, and performing emergency repairs on production equipment. The role also involves reading equipment manuals, diagnosing problems, performing preventive maintenance, and using various tools and meters. The Electrician must comply with safety regulations, maintain clean work areas, execute quality processes and documentation, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. They will also assist in training new employees and attend meetings and trainings as required. A strong understanding of Controls Logic and industrial automation controls, including troubleshooting with Allen Bradley hardware and software, is essential.
