About The Position
Dryden Fibre Canada is currently seeking an individual to become part of our Finance Team. The City of Dryden is located on the North shoreline of the Wabigoon Chain of Lakes along the Trans-Canada Highway. It is located midway between Winnipeg, Manitoba and Thunder Bay, Ontario, and is surrounded by wilderness, lakes, and landscapes. Nestled in the heart of Canada’s Boreal Forest in Northwestern Ontario, Dryden Fibre Canada produces Northern Bleached Softwood Kraft primarily used in the manufacturing of premium towel and tissue products. Requirements
- A valid Interprovincial “Red Seal” Electrician Certificate.
- A positive work attitude and a keen sense of responsibility.
- Effective communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Must have a safety-oriented mindset with the desire to enforce and follow mill safety and environmental policies and procedures.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the Pulp and Paper industry will be considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- PLC troubleshooting.
- Working on low and medium voltage systems.
- Maintenance and troubleshooting experience with motors and motor controls.
- Troubleshooting, calibrating and repairing process control equipment.
- Working from schematics, drawings and prints when troubleshooting.
