About The Position

Tindall Corporation is a leading precast concrete manufacturer with locations throughout the Southeastern U.S. Its mission is to support customers, create remarkable structures, and deliver new solutions. The Electrician maintains and repairs plant machinery and mechanical equipment, working with a broad range of equipment such as automobiles, tractors, cranes, trailers, production machinery, Travelifts, loaders, pickup trucks, and lift trucks. The role also involves knowledge of building structures and their mechanical, electrical, heating, air-conditioning, and sanitary systems. Employees are expected to follow safety and quality rules and processes to support a safe working environment and the production of high-quality products. The position requires a high school diploma or GED.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems.
Knowledge of PLC, VFD, and automation controls.
Broad experience with various machinery, mechanical equipment, and building systems.

Responsibilities

Examine machinery and mechanical equipment to diagnose problems.
Dismantle and reassemble machines as needed.
Replace worn or broken parts and order replacement parts when required.
Make necessary adjustments to ensure equipment operates properly.
Maintain building structures and equipment, including electrical switches, fixtures, and motors; perform occasional painting or touch-ups; and repair plumbing fixtures.
Repair, rebuild, or overhaul internal combustion engines, including replacing piston rings, bearings, or other engine parts; grinding and adjusting valves; and rebuilding carburetors.
Overhaul transmissions and repair fuel injection, lighting, and ignition systems.
Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by the Supervisor.
Follow safety and quality rules and processes.
