About The Position

Perform general and preventive electrical maintenance property wide. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices. Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures. Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations. Work daily with personal hand tools and company owned power tools. Complete work orders as assigned through computer-based program in a timely manner. Effectively communicate details of work orders and follow up through to completion. Notify Supervisors of parts and inventory needs. Ensure customer satisfaction. Follow lawful direction from Upper Management. Understand and follow work and safety rules and procedures. Interact well with others and be a positive influence on employee morale. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Basic working knowledge of building maintenance
  • Working knowledge and experience with low voltage
  • Working knowledge of electrical repairs
  • Working knowledge of change outlets, GFCls, switches, light fixtures and repair light fixtures
  • Working knowledge of read wiring schematics
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Must be flexible, detail oriented, able to prioritize and able to multi-task effectively
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, changing environment with multiple distractions and meet timelines
  • Must uphold appearance standards
  • Ability to problem solve and strategize for better solutions
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Must be 21+ years old
  • One (1) year experience
  • Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols
  • Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment
  • Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling and grasping.
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
