About The Position

Mark III Construction, Inc. is seeking certified Electricians for immediate opportunities in the Reno Area. Applicants must have commercial experience, be currently licensed by the State of California, and be able to work with limited supervision. Mark III is a full-service construction company with three unique and complementary businesses – M3 MEP, M3 Service, and M3 Components. From concept to maintenance, Mark III specializes in healthcare, higher education, industrial, life science, and technology projects. We take a big picture approach to the construction process by self-performing electrical, HVAC, plumbing, process piping, prefabrication, and MEP design. Instead of multiple consultants and countless subcontractors, our customers work with just one company to eliminate profit layers, scope gaps, and complexity of schedules. Headquartered in Sacramento, CA, our company’s footprint extends across California and into Nevada. Our cutting-edge manufacturing facility acts as a central hub for both states, providing solutions for five trades: HVAC, mechanical piping, plumbing, electrical, and metal-stud framing.

Requirements

• Commercial experience
• Currently licensed by the State of California
• Able to work with limited supervision
• Current State of California license - Active JW card preferred
• Excellent knowledge of NEC
• Experience working in a commercial setting 2+ years preferred
• Able to work with little supervision
• Dependable with reliable transportation
• Must be able to read and understand construction documents and schedules
• Understands the entire scope of the job
• Must be knowledgeable of relevant codes and regulations
• Experience working on large complex projects
• Ability to take initiative and be self sufficient
• Safety focused at all times
• Must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation
• Must have OSHA 10 or 30

Responsibilities

• Manage portions of projects and be the “right hand” to the Foreman
• Forecasting tasks and materials
• Doing basic take offs
• Prepare equipment and tool lists
• Collaborate with other trades and have the “Power of One” mindset
• Act as a Brand Ambassador for Mark III Construction
