About The Position

Greiner Industries is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. This position will be responsible for running conduit, pulling wire, installing electrical components, and interpreting blueprints and schematics to ensure safe, code-compliant installations. The role offers 1st and 2nd shift availability, with the 2nd shift operating on a 4x10 schedule and receiving a 15% differential. A $2,500 new hire bonus is also available.

Responsibilities

Run conduit, pull wire, and install electrical components.
Interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure safe, code-compliant installations.
Run EMT and rigid conduit, pipes, or tubing, inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes.
Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures.
Assemble, install, test, or maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, or fixtures, using hand tools or power tools.
Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
Assemble, install, test electrical wiring, equipment, apparatus, fixtures, junction boxes, switches, outlets, distribution panels, etc.
Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment, such as motors.
Fasten small metal or plastic boxes to walls to house electrical switches or outlets.
Read, interpret, and understand electrical schematics, blueprints, and layout drawings.
