About The Position

This role involves performing electrical repair and maintenance on various equipment throughout the property, installing electrical wiring for renovations and additions, and responding to work requests. The position also includes performing preventive maintenance, assisting other departments, and maintaining knowledge of property information. Additionally, the electrician will handle electrical setups for exhibits and conventions, maintain good housekeeping in work areas, and manage inventory of electrical materials.

Requirements

Must have basic mathematical skills. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to exercise initiative and a sense of urgency.
Exceptionally self-motivated and directed.

Responsibilities

Performs electrical repair and maintenance to motors, starters, breakers, and associated equipment throughout the entire property.
Installs electrical wiring for renovations, electrical outlet additions, motors and associated equipment.
Responds to work requests submitted by various departments.
Performs preventive maintenance to all electrical equipment and maintain logs.
Assists other areas in repairs.
Maintains knowledge of property information and memorabilia.
Adheres to department and property policies and procedures.
Maintaining all lamps in the hotel, including socket repair and replacements.
Completes electrical set ups for exhibits and conventions including maintaining electrical equipment for exhibits.
Maintains good housekeeping in electrical shop and work areas.
Orders and receives materials related to areas and maintain orderly inventory.
