About The Position

John Owens Services is looking for an experienced Residential Service Electrician who can do great electrical work, communicate with homeowners, and confidently sell the right solutions. This is not a position for someone who only wants to “fix and leave.” We are looking for a service electrician who can diagnose, educate, present options, and help customers move forward with confidence. Requirements

• 3+ years of residential electrical experience
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability and willingness to sell
• Confidence presenting options to customers
• Professional appearance and communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable and punctual work ethic
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safe work practices

Responsibilities

• Running residential electrical service calls
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues
• Performing repairs, installations, upgrades, panel work, lighting, outlets, switches, energy efficiency, electrification, battery back ups and more
• Presenting clear options and estimates to homeowners
• Using our pricing guide to make customer presentations simple and professional
• Selling electrical repairs, upgrades, and safety improvements
• Providing excellent customer service from start to finish
• Collecting payment at the time of service
• Maintaining a clean, professional work area
