About The Position

Will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a wide variety of electrical machinery that is specific to the IMGR&C industry. Candidate will also be involved in new construction projects at the IMGR&C. Duties will vary and not necessarily always be related to electrical work. Must be able to tolerate adverse weather conditions while performing duties; Able to climb towers and work at heights; Lifting and carrying items of up to 100 lbs. in weight.

Requirements

  • Must possess NM Journeyman Electrician credentials
  • Must have knowledge of high voltage (7200V) and low voltage systems
  • Must be able to read wiring diagrams
  • Must be able to climb lift towers
  • Must be willing to learn heavy equipment operation
  • While performing the duties of this position, the team member is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear.
  • Must be able to use hand held communications devices.
  • The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • The team member must be able to stand for several hours.

Responsibilities

  • Provide electrical maintenance and repair needs of the resort and ensures completion of all electrical duties.
  • Provides guidance and advice on all electrical work assignments.
  • Completes work orders as assigned.
  • Performs electrical circuit checks, repair and replace of broken parts, breakers, switches, outlets, light bulbs, light fixtures and all other electrical parts.
  • Performs preventive maintenance on Generators, checking oil and fluid levels, belts and hoses, fuel and air filters and starting equipment on a regular bases.
  • Keep records of work performed.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • Protects property of resort, acts to minimize repairs and replacements of electrical parts and systems.
  • This position occasionally works outside and is subject to all weather conditions.
  • Must be able to work different schedules and days including weekends and holidays.
