About The Position
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Electricians for projects located in the Buffalo, NY area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $50/hour based on experience plus $135/day per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Requirements
- 3+ years of electrical experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Must have preventative maintenance
- Low voltage and high voltage experience
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, repair, and upgrade electrical systems
- Wire circuits, motors panels, and components
- Diagnose electrical issues using multimeters, testing tools, and electrical schematics
- Perform preventive maintenance, electrical inspections, and equipment calibration
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
- Test electrical systems to ensure proper function and safety compliance
- Document repairs, maintenance logs, inspections, and service information
- Maintain inventory of electrical parts, supplies, and materials
- Ensure all work meets electrical codes safety standards and company requirements
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues quickly to reduce downtime
- Support production equipment, lighting controls, power distribution, and facility electrical systems
