About The Position

As an Electrician, you will inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment in assigned facilities. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function, responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. You will oversee the general operation, repair, and maintenance of electrical and lighting systems, perform new installations of equipment, and check, repair, and replace functional components of electrical and lighting systems. This includes components such as valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, and pipes. You will ensure that equipment is maintained and operating safely, review historical maintenance records to create proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules, and provide efficient and reliable service to customers. This role requires applying general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems, possessing a broad knowledge of your job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function. You will lead by example, model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values, and may be involved in convincing others to reach an agreement. You will impact the quality of your own work and the work of others on the team, working primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines, and explaining complex information to others in straightforward situations. Daily tasks include check-ins, assigned project management tasks, and scheduled maintenance tasks.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems
  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset
  • Advanced math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide; ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions
  • 5 years of relevant electrical experience
  • 3–4 years of job-related experience (per role requirements)
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma required
  • Master Electrician license required as dictated by local electrical codes
  • Valid Driver's License required

Responsibilities
