About The Position

Cascade Pacific Pulp is seeking an Electrician & Instrument Repair person for their maintenance department in Halsey, Oregon. This role is for individuals who are motivated, dependable, self-directed, and eager to learn.

Requirements

• State of Oregon Journey Level Limited Plant Manufacturing Electrician’s license or better.
• 3 years journey level electrical experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC’s, Delta V or DCS equivalent, 4/20 MA process control loops, and 480V and 2400V equipment.
• Willing and able to safely perform job duties.
• Mandatory union membership.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AC/DC drives.
• Familiarity with 12470V equipment.
• Prior manufacturing and/or pulp and paper experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and instrument repair duties in a manufacturing facility.
• Work with Allen-Bradley PLC’s, Delta V or DCS equivalent, 4/20 MA process control loops, and 480V and 2400V equipment.
• Potentially complete an in-house instrumentation program.
• Perform job duties safely.
