About The Position

Michigan Sugar Company has an immediate full-time opportunity for an Electrician, located at the Bay City Factory, Bay City, 48706. This position is an hourly position working various schedules and is part of the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers, and Grain Millers Local # 263-G. An Electrician at Michigan Sugar’s Bay City Factory is responsible for Electrical maintenance labor to maintain the factory in an efficient, safe and environmentally sound manner. Requires performing a wide variety of tasks including installing and maintaining electrical systems in and around the factory.

Requirements

State of Michigan Electrical License as a Journeyman or Master Electrician
Minimum 5 years industrial electrical experience
Industrial experience, including knowledge in motor control, relay logic, PLC logic and computer based motor and process control system
High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform physically demanding work
