About The Position

Maintains the electrical systems of the facility in safe condition. Performs preventive maintenance, routine repairs and urgent corrections to electrical systems and equipment as necessary. Installs new electrical systems and electrical components and obtains all necessary electrical permits as required by regulatory agencies.

Requirements

Trade school graduate in an electrical discipline or high school graduate with equivalent trade experience.
Minimum of two years (2) as an unlimited licensed journeyperson, in addition to E1 license.
At least (6) years of equivalent trade work experience and training.
Connecticut E-1 trade license
Valid driver’s license
Thorough knowledge of the electrical trade is necessary.
Ability to read and understand design drawings and technical specifications.
Proficient in the use of tools and equipment required in the trade and possess good diagnostic skills.
Able to work in a time constrained and sometimes stressful environment.
