About The Position

TCH has been serving the needs of individuals with disabilities and their families in Arizona since 1967. Our mission is to empower individuals with physical and/or developmental disabilities to live fulfilling lives. The Ability One Program is the largest source of employment for people who have significant disabilities throughout the United States. The AbilityOne Program provides high quality job opportunities for people with disabilities who face significant barriers to employment and who would otherwise rely on public benefit programs. We are seeking an Electrician for our Ability One Program at Fort Huachuca JITC, to provide journeymen level support, maintenance and planning for electrical projects and the electrical portion of multi-disciplinary projects, and provide cost estimates and technical oversight for electrical projects.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Journeyman or higher electrician certification
At least 5 years’ experience in the electrical field
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background checks to gain site access to the base
Must have a Real ID that is federally compliant
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have a current AZ Driver’s License
Must have a 39-month clean driving record
Must have a documented disability

Responsibilities

Provide journeymen level support, maintenance and planning for electrical projects.
Provide journeymen level support, maintenance and planning for the electrical portion of multi-disciplinary projects.
Provide cost estimates and technical oversight for electrical projects.
