About The Position
As an Electrician here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment, helping to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. This is a union role. You will report directly to our Maintenance Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our Golden Valley, MN location on an On-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the reliability and performance of Honeywell’s manufacturing and operational assets by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and supporting repair activities to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. The Electrician will perform installation, replacement, repair and troubleshooting maintenance of electric circuitry associated with production and facility equipment.

- Perform installation, replacement, repair and troubleshooting maintenance of electric circuitry associated with production and facility equipment.
Responsibilities
- Hook up power, lighting and temperature controls (switch, lights, relays, etc.)
- Determine appropriate components, wire size, protective covering and wiring layout
- Diagnose problems quickly to identify the causes of problems and determine effective courses of action to avoid extended periods of equipment downtime
- Report serious trouble to Supervisor in a timely manner to expedite additional resources as needed
- Order supplies as required
