About The Position
SMS Staffing Inc. is seeking a seasoned Journeyman Electrician with strong expertise in troubleshooting, maintenance, and complex electrical installations. This role is for a self-starter who takes pride in delivering high-quality work while maintaining strict National Electrical Code (NEC) compliance. The position involves handling everything from minor residential repairs to large-scale commercial maintenance.
Requirements
- Current Journeyman Electrician License.
- 10 -15+ years of proven electrical experience.
- Deep understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Must possess a complete set of personal hand and power tools.
- Detail-oriented with strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and a team-player attitude.
Responsibilities
- Expertly troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical systems in both residential and commercial environments.
- Read and execute work from blueprints, schematics, and detailed written instructions.
- Manage job sites and projects with minimal supervision while maintaining high safety standards.
- Handle everything from minor residential repairs to large-scale commercial maintenance.
