About The Position

The San Diego Unified School District is accepting applications for the position of Electrician. This promotional/open opportunity is open to all interested candidates. The Electrician will perform skilled electrical work in the inspection, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.

Requirements

A combination of training, experience, and/or education equivalent to completion of a recognized four year electrical apprentice training program and minimum four years diversified journeyman level electrician experience.
Possession of a valid California driver’s license.
Possession of a valid State of California General Journeyman Electrician certification.
Possession of hand tools common to the trade.
