About The Position

This role is for an Electrician at a new worksite in Lebanon, IN. The position involves inspecting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment in assigned facilities. The job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, responsible for support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. The team works in office trailers, with some independent work and some teamwork. The typical day includes a daily check-in, assigned PMs, and scheduled maintenance tasks.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3-4 years of job-related experience.
  • Master Electrician license required as dictated by local electrical codes.
  • Valid Driver's license required.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Advanced math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages discounts and commissions.
  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Electrical skills.
  • Commercial Industrial experience.
  • Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of a formal apprenticeship program preferred.
  • OSHA 10 certification highly preferred.
  • Electrician's license highly preferred.
  • Trouble shooting skills.
  • CMMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee electrical and lighting systems' general operation, repair, and maintenance.
  • Perform new installations of equipment.
  • Check, repair, and replace functional components of electrical and lighting systems, including valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, and pipes.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained and operating in a safe manner.
  • Review historical maintenance records to create proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Provide efficient and reliable service to customers.
  • Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
  • Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
