About The Position

APAC Central Inc., a CRH company, is seeking a skilled Electrician to join their dynamic team. This role involves maintaining and servicing a wide range of electrical components at diverse locations, including high-tech plants, advanced scale houses, and the mechanic shop. The Electrician will work with robust 480-volt equipment, execute assigned tasks with precision, and take ownership of creating and maintaining a safe work environment. The position also requires assisting with general labor duties when needed and maintaining regular attendance. The company is a regional heavy highway/infrastructure construction firm serving Arkansas, Oklahoma, and southern Missouri, with a history dating back to the early 20th Century.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Valid state motor vehicle permit for operating carts and forklift trucks during installations.
Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Three to five years of progressively responsible experience as an electrician.
Must be 18+ years of age.
Pre-employment physical, drug screening, and criminal background check required.
Strict compliance with all safety protocols and procedures.
Teamwork is essential—be ready to help and collaborate with co-workers and supervisors as needed.
Expertise in precision work with minimal tolerances.
Exceptional attention to detail and focus to ensure the safe flow of electrical power.
Must have specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, to operate equipment safely.

Flexibility to work nights and weekends as operational needs arise.
Commitment to full OSHA/MSHA compliance always.
