About The Position

LEGENDS GLOBAL, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an immediate opening for a Facility Electrician for LEGENDS Global Stockton in Stockton, CA who is responsible for all aspects of maintenance in the facilities. Ensures that all facility electrical equipment are maintained in good condition. Oversees general facility electrical maintenance; and proper delivery of event-related utility services. Performs the following duties personally or through a subordinate: Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility electrical systems including panels, feeders, breakers, transformers (as applicable), receptacles, and lighting controls. Oversees electrical preventative maintenance of all Stockton Complex sites. Conduct routine rounds to inspect mechanical rooms, rooftops, and common areas; identify electrical hazards and service needs. Install, modify, and repair lighting systems (interior/exterior), including lamps, ballasts/drivers, occupancy sensors, and lighting control relays. Support emergency and standby power systems (UPS, inverters, transfer switches, generators—where applicable) through inspections, testing coordination, and issue resolution. Use test equipment (multimeter, clamp meter, insulation resistance tester/megger as applicable) to diagnose faults and verify repairs. Read and interpret one-lines, schematics, panel schedules, and equipment manuals to plan work safely and accurately. Support lockout/tagout (LOTO), arc-flash safety practices, and permit-to-work processes; verify de-energization and ensure safe re-energization. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized work; review scope, ensure safe work practices, and validate completion/closeout documentation Perform electrical preventive maintenance (PM) inspections and complete work orders using company systems such as Altum; document findings, parts used, and labor hours. Respond to electrical outages, urgent electrical maintenance calls and alarms; participate in on-call rotation as assigned. Facilitates compliance with NFPA and all other applicable electrical laws and regulations. Coordinate and oversee contractors and vendors (HVAC, electrical, fire/life safety, elevators, janitorial); verify scope completion and quality. Ensures adherence to Cal OSHA, NFPA and other applicable safety codes.

Requirements

  • Associates, Trade Licensed (like HVAC tech, or Electrical license) OR 3+ years of experience as an electrician in commercial/industrial facilities, building operations, or construction/maintenance environments.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of safe electrical work practices, including LOTO and electrical hazard awareness.
  • Cal OSHA 10/30 or equivalent safety training; familiarity with NFPA and local code requirements.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good written, verbal and interpersonal skills required; ability to interact with all levels of staff including management.
  • Ability to effectively supervise staff.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic.
  • Ability to work irregular / extended hours, including night and weekend duties is required.
  • Sufficient computer skills to operate BMS / other automated systems.
  • Working knowledge of normal business applications such as Windows 10, Microsoft Office, Adobe, et cetera.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and as a team member.
  • Requires ability to work flexible and extended hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.
