About The Position
Haller is seeking an experienced Electrician to join their New Construction & Commercial Install Group. This role involves working on various commercial new construction projects, collaborating with skilled electricians, foremen, and trade professionals to deliver high-quality installations from rough-in through final completion. The position offers local, in-state projects with no overnight travel, overtime opportunities, and a strong focus on safety, training, and career advancement within a supportive team environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of electrical new construction experience
- Strong understanding of the NEC codebook and code compliance
- OSHA-10 Certification
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans
- Commitment to quality workmanship and doing the job right the first time
- Strong work ethic and pride in your craft
- Desire to continuously learn and grow within the trade
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree from a technical school or two-year college
- Journeyman Electrician License
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems during all phases of construction
- Complete rough-ins, finish-outs, and final electrical installations
- Install commercial service equipment and conduit systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and architectural drawings
- Apply NEC code requirements to ensure safe, compliant installations
- Communicate effectively with general contractors, project teams, and other trades
- Collaborate with electricians and foremen to keep projects on schedule
- Mentor and support apprentices as they develop their skills
- Follow all company and construction site safety procedures
