Requirements

Proficiency in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, including wiring, lighting and control systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams and schematics.
Advance skills in diagnosing and resolving electrical issues efficiently.
Expertise in using various electrical tools and equipment, such as multimeters, and hand tools.
Working knowledge of 480 volt, three-phase AC, 240/500 VDC. VFD and PLC.
In-depth understanding of the NEC and local electrical codes to ensure compliance and safety.
Knowledge in OSHA safety programs such as LO/TO, Arc Flash, Confined Space Entry, Proper PPE, Machine Safety and plant wide safety awareness.
Comprehensive understanding of electrical safety standards and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure safe working environments.
Follow best practices for installing and maintaining electrical systems to prevent accidents, including proper grounding, circuit protection, and adherence to specific guidelines.
Emergency preparedness by having a clear plan in place, knowing how to shut off power quickly.
3-5 years of on the job experience in the trained area, or the successful completion of a technical program in electrical training.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work as a team and individually to complete projects.
Ability to work nights with the possibility of day shift openings as they become available.

Nice To Haves

Experience in industrial manufacturing is preferred.
