About The Position

Performs all types of electrical construction work on in-house projects including electrical installations and major maintenance from the load side of service transformer to the last device. Duties include but are not limited to properly and safely using and operating the associated powered or hand tools of the electrical trade; maintenance, repair, replacement, fabrication, installation, alteration; reading and interpreting construction blueprints and detailed job descriptions; creating a materials take-off list and completing purchase requisitions for needed materials; completing purchase requisitions for other purchases (tools and tool accessories as necessary); and the application of skills in planning, problem-solving, attention to detail, teamwork, communication and adherence to safety. Knowledge and understanding of the National Electrical Code and NFPE (National Fire Protection Engineering) 70E. Must be able to read and interpret complex electrical/schematics and prints. Must possess a valid NC Driver’s License or have the ability to obtain one prior to hire.

Requirements
