As an Electrician, your work focuses on performing the installation, maintenance and repair of systems within the hospital, ensuring preventative and ongoing monitoring and issue resolution. These efforts are vital to our mission to become the best places to receive healthcare in the world. A caregiver in this position works 2:30pm to 11:30pm, with rotating weekends and holidays. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Coordinate and perform electrical equipment maintenance, installations and modifications according to applicable codes and regulations. Coordinate and perform testing of electrical systems as required by codes. Troubleshoot and analyze electrical problems. Assist contractors with locating and avoiding hidden electrical circuits. Perform and develop preventative maintenance measures for electrical equipment in compliance with applicable codes and standards to ensure operational readiness and performance. Work across multiple Cleveland Clinic locations as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Three years of experience as a fully qualified Electrician OR military experience a Construction Electrician (CE), Engineman (EN), Interior Electrician (12R), Electrical Systems (3E0X1) or similar role
  • Experience with multi-phase systems of low and high voltage
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints
  • Knowledge of Microsoft software

Nice To Haves

  • Certificate from an approved Electrical Apprenticeship Program or Trade School
