About The Position

The electrician monitors, maintains, adjusts, and repairs electrical distribution systems owned or leased by the Medical University of South Carolina in order to ensure safety and reliability of emergency and normal power electrical systems. This role requires a working knowledge of all electrical systems including, but not limited to, Generators, ATS, MCC, Drives, Motors, Distribution Center, and Distribution Panels. Incumbent is Considered Essential Personnel in a disaster.

Requirements

• High School Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
• 3 years of work experience
• Working knowledge of all electrical systems including, but not limited to, Generators, ATS, MCC, Drives, Motors, Distribution Center, and Distribution Panels.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, maintains, adjusts, and repairs electrical distribution systems owned or leased by the Medical University Hospital Authority.
• Ensures safety and reliability of emergency and normal power electrical systems.
• Works with Generators, ATS, MCC, Drives, Motors, Distribution Center, and Distribution Panels.
• Is considered Essential Personnel in a disaster.
