About The Position

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a skilled Electrician to perform electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work at our Dolet Hills site. This role does not require driving as part of its primary duties. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent work experience.
Valid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification (where applicable).
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a qualified electrician, preferably in an industrial or heavy construction environment.
Strong knowledge of electrical theory, principles, and codes (NEC).
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues and perform effective repairs.
Strong commitment to safety practices and procedures.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, components, and equipment, including wiring, conduit, fixtures, and control devices.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems and to identify electrical problems.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Identify and diagnose electrical malfunctions using appropriate testing equipment.
Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and electrical codes (e.g., NEC).
Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently and safely.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on tasks.
Assist in the training of junior electricians or apprentices as needed.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized electrical equipment safely and proficiently.
