The Niagara Falls, NY location produces organic salts, including propionates and acetates, serving Pharmaceutical, Food, Feed and Technical Industries. With this long-standing and fully automated manufacturing site, Kerry offers world class quality products to a global market. Our products fill vital needs in a broad range of applications that are essential to everyday life including food preservation, antibiotic formulation, dialysis treatment, energy production and more. This role will help keep the plant running safely and reliably by maintaining and repairing site property, utilities, and production equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Electrical theory
• Motor control and wiring
• PID loop and instrumentation basics
• Basic understanding of PLC systems and troubleshooting components
• Ability to read electrical drawings
• Understanding of NEC codes
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Journeyman Electrician or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Maintain the electrical power distribution system.
• Maintain instrumentation and control systems.
• Perform electrical repairs on plant equipment.
• Support building services and general repairs.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in work areas.
• Analyze problems and troubleshoot equipment to resolve issues quickly.
• May be required to move or lift up to 50 lbs.
