About The Position
This position is for an Electrician within the Maintenance department. The role is a full-time, auxiliary position for the 2026-2027 School Year. The electrician will be responsible for performing electrical work according to local codes and standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Valid journey electrician license from TDLR.
- Valid Texas driver's license.
- Five years of experience in the electrical field with a journeyman license.
Nice To Haves
- Five years of experience in fire alarm systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical work according to local electrical codes.
- Operate and maintain electrical systems and motors.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and written materials.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical problems.
- Use hand and power tools for electrical tasks.
