About The Position

As an Electrician Technician at Takeda, you will maintain the electrical systems and infrastructure supporting its Los Angeles manufacturing operations. You will perform advanced preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to help ensure the safety, reliability, and availability of facility electrical equipment. Working with limited supervision, you will inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical power distribution and control systems, including generators, transformers, switchgear, motor control centers, variable frequency drives, and emergency power systems. You will also support electrical installations, equipment modifications, and reliability improvements while ensuring work meets applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and site procedures. This is a senior, hands-on technical position for an experienced industrial electrician who can independently carry out complex maintenance activities, recognize potential hazards, and provide technical guidance to teammates in support of reliable pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. The role may involve a combination of sedentary activity and walking throughout the facility; lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds; working in controlled environments with special gowning and protective clothing; working in cold, wet, or varying temperatures, including cleanrooms and storage areas; and accessing confined areas or electrical and mechanical spaces. The position may require multiple shifts, weekends, planned shutdowns, emergency callouts, and overtime. Required personal protective equipment may include arc-rated clothing, electrical gloves, safety footwear, hearing protection, and other task-specific equipment. Electrical work must remain within documented training, demonstrated qualifications, and applicable site authorization. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role.
