About The Position

The Electrician/Mechanic position is a full-time hourly role responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems in a corrugated manufacturing facility. The primary goal is to maximize equipment utilization by maintaining machinery at available capacity and speed. This role involves planning and scheduling maintenance work, ensuring repairs are properly documented in the maintenance software, and adhering to all company policies, including safety and housekeeping standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years maintenance experience required.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, motor controls & drives, mechanical power transmissions, welding & metal fabrication, pneumatic & hydraulic troubleshooting & repair, lift truck safety & repair, and PC literacy.
• Must successfully complete a maintenance test, drug screening, and background /employment verification.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a corrugated manufacturing facility is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot programmable controllers and A/C and D/C drives.
• Make necessary repairs to drives and their control systems.
• Maximize equipment utilization by maintaining machinery to run at available capacity and speed.
• Follow up on all work orders to ensure repairs and work are performed properly and entered into the maintenance software program.
• Plan and schedule maintenance work.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
