About The Position

We are looking for a talented Electrician Apprentice – Level I to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Rocky Mount, NC. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Ensure Equipment Availability: By performing electrical maintenance and machine support tasks, you'll keep equipment operational and minimize downtime. Promote Safety: You'll adhere to and promote Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Maintain High Quality Standards: Your attention to detail and adherence to quality procedures will help maintain high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship. Support Preventive Maintenance: By providing feedback and performing preventive maintenance, you'll help prevent equipment failures and extend the lifespan of machinery. Efficient Problem Solving: You'll identify and reduce manufacturing constraints, solve problems, and improve processes to enhance overall efficiency. Requirements

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

Nice To Haves

Experience with CNC machines is a plus.
Familiarity with gantry systems, including their operation, setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting, is highly desirable.
