Butterball is seeking an Industrial Electrician to provide mechanical support services in response to operational changes. This role involves responding to malfunctions, breakdowns, relocations, replacements, or modifications of existing mechanical systems and equipment. Requirements

2 years of previous experience working in at least one maintenance discipline.
Ability to follow diagrams, operation manuals, manufacturing instructions, and troubleshoot malfunctions.
Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
Ability to work independently to make decisions with minimal supervision.
Ability to read and understand written instructions.
Good Communication skills.
Basic Mathematical Skills.
Ability to lift to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Certificate/Diploma in Industrial Maintenance or similar area strongly preferred.
Weld equipment and parts using mig, tig, and stick methods.
Perform mill/lathe work as needed.
Perform plumbing work as needed.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs a wide range of complex tasks involving electrical, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and fabrication of repair parts necessary to keep equipment and processes operating optimally.
Troubleshoots and repairs various pieces of equipment using diagnostic skills and tools such as ladder logic and volt meters.
Performs preventive maintenance tasks, including lubricating wear points and changing blades.
Tears down and reassembles equipment to support food safety initiatives.
Supports and trains other IMTs, Machine Operators, and Production Associates on proper equipment operation and preventive maintenance tasks.
Interprets specifications, blueprints, schematics, and work orders to perform duties.
Suggests process changes to increase equipment uptime and reliability while ensuring optimal operation.
Is committed to continuous improvement and acts in a manner consistent with Butterball’s core values.
Works effectively in both team and individual settings, demonstrating self-direction and efficient time utilization.
Adheres to company policies, including safety and food safety regulations.
Accurately tracks work assignments (time), accounts for parts, and completes required paperwork.
Acts as backfill in operating production equipment as needed.
Performs all duties as assigned by management.
Maintains regular attendance, which is an essential function of the position.
