About The Position

Adams, Inc. is hiring hardworking, dependable individuals to begin a long-term career in the electrical trade through its Commercial & Industrial division. The role provides hands-on training, mentorship, and apprenticeship opportunities while supporting commercial and industrial electrical work. Apprentices work alongside experienced Journeyman and Master Electricians and develop skills toward becoming a licensed electrician. The position is primarily daytime, Monday through Friday. Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required based on project needs. Work takes place on construction job sites and involves ladders, tools and equipment, lifting, and exposure to varying weather and environmental conditions. Starting pay is $18–$20 per hour, with performance- and apprenticeship-based wage increases.

Ability to work safely in commercial and industrial environments.
Valid driver's license.
High school diploma or GED, or be within six months of graduation.
Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

Work alongside experienced Journeyman and Master Electricians.
Assist with commercial and industrial electrical installations.
Learn conduit bending, wire pulling, equipment installation, and troubleshooting.
Gain hands-on experience reading blueprints and electrical drawings.
Learn industry best practices, safety procedures, and National Electrical Code requirements.
Develop the skills needed to become a licensed electrician.
