About The Position
Adams, Inc. is hiring hardworking, dependable individuals to begin a long-term career in the electrical trade through its Commercial & Industrial division. The role offers hands-on training, mentorship, and apprenticeship opportunities while working alongside experienced Journeyman and Master Electricians. Employees assist with commercial and industrial electrical installations and learn trade skills and safety practices needed to develop toward becoming a licensed electrician.
Requirements
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Desire to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career.
- Ability to work safely in commercial and industrial environments.
- Valid driver's license.
- High school diploma or GED, or be within six months of graduation.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside experienced Journeyman and Master Electricians.
- Assist with commercial and industrial electrical installations.
- Learn conduit bending, wire pulling, equipment installation, and troubleshooting.
- Gain hands-on experience reading blueprints and electrical drawings.
- Learn industry best practices, safety procedures, and National Electrical Code requirements.
- Develop the skills needed to become a licensed electrician.
