About The Position
Lincoln Tech is hiring Electrician Instructors for its Electrical and Electronic Systems program in Grand Prairie, Texas. Instructors teach practical, hands-on skills in a fully equipped facility and deliver Lincoln Tech’s accredited curriculum. They prepare students for careers in the electrical and electronics systems industry by emphasizing safety, industry regulations, professionalism, and continued development. Teaching experience is not required; Lincoln Tech supports industry experts transitioning into teaching roles. The position offers a four-day work week.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a licensed Journeyman Electrician within the last 10 years in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Experience installing and servicing electrical equipment.
- Understanding of single-phase and three-phase systems.
- Knowledge of electrical codes.
- High school diploma or GED.
Nice To Haves
- Teaching experience.
- Experience or knowledge of motor controls, lighting controls, or solar.
- Experience or knowledge of low-voltage systems.
Responsibilities
- Deliver practical instruction and hands-on training in Electrical and Electronic Systems.
- Teach the Lincoln Tech accredited course curriculum and support students’ understanding of electrical systems.
- Teach safety procedures and industry regulations.
