Requirements

  • 7 years of experience in diagnosing and repairing electrical equipment or machinery, or comparable experience with trade school or training
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Understanding and experience with gate logic, RSLogix/Studio 5000, Ohm’s Law, resistor reading, and DC/AC voltage.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints to perform detailed analytical diagnosis of electrical issues.
  • Thorough understanding and application of the National Electrical Code (NEC), ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Skilled in programming Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) using both basic and ladder logic to control industrial processes.
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and instrumentation, capable of troubleshooting complex problems effectively.
  • Proficiency in reading/writing wiring diagrams, programming PLCs, and a basic understanding of NEC
  • Knowledge of electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and temperature and pressure gauges.
  • Familiarity with a variety of tools and the ability to troubleshoot basic problems.

Nice To Haves

  • an Associate's Degree in Electronics Technology is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, install, and repair equipment, electrical systems and facility electrical systems.
  • Utilize electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and temperature and pressure gauges
  • Maintain and utilize maintenance systems for work orders, breakdown reporting and track machine modifications.
  • Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and light fixtures. Replace damages or broken components
  • Troubleshoot electrical equipment
