About The Position

This is a full-time position for an Electrician II responsible for the primary maintenance and operation of various electrical systems and equipment. The role requires adherence to safety codes and the ability to work collaboratively with other personnel.

Requirements

• Two (2) years technical training on electrical power systems or at least five (5) years work experience
• Ability to understand technical instructions
• Ability to cooperate and coordinate work with other maintenance personnel or departments
• Familiarity with equipment and building codes
• Familiarity with NEC 70 National Electrical Code
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to climb ladders
• Ability to distinguish colors and sounds
• Ability to bend and kneel
• Ability to communicate clearly

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate intercom systems
• Maintain and operate fire alarm systems
• Maintain and operate medical gas alarm systems
• Maintain and operate Translogic controls
• Maintain and operate trash/linen chute controls
• Maintain and operate motor controls
• Maintain and operate lighting systems
• Maintain and operate electrical motors
• Maintain and operate emergency generators
• Maintain and operate power distribution normal/emergency systems
• Maintain and operate clock controls
• Maintain and operate uninterruptible power supply systems
