About The Position

Assemble Under dash harnesses, switch panels, circuit boards, and a variety of different electrical components. Programming the lights from engineering specs. Troubleshoot 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry. Test products to ensure performance to specifications. Reading specs to make sure the trucks are built per spec. Perform functionality checks on airhorns, sirens, light packages, flash patterns, door locks, etc. Fix quality issues.

Requirements

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layouts with written and verbal instructions
Ability to understand both 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry.
Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements
Ability to use common hand tools and power tools such as drills, and screw guns
Must have the ability to read, write, and perform mathematical computations at a level required for successful job performance
Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions
Ability to work in a team environment
Successful completion of the drug and background screening

Nice To Haves

Preferred 1-2 years of automotive electrical experience in a manufacturing environment
Preferred high school diploma or GED
