This role is responsible for supporting maintenance operations in a refrigeration manufacturing organization.

Requirements

Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Automated Systems, or Industrial Maintenance required or 2+ years Industrial Maintenance experience
Working knowledge of computer systems including MS Office
Ability to bend, stoop, stand, and kneel for extended periods of time

Physically capable of working in a fast-paced, stop-and-go manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively
Alert, dependable, and safety-focused
Previous experience in manufacturing material handling or similar industrial environments
Knowledge of parts and materials required for production operations.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong organizational skills and ability to make quick decisions in support of a process-oriented operation

Responsibilities

Promote a safe, clean, organized working environment for all employees and always wear proper PPE
Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on all Carrier equipment as needed
Improve production equipment up-time by ensuring reliability and repeatability so that all equipment can produce quality product
Responsible for servicing all types of mechanical and electrical devices including analog and digital circuits, AC & DC Drives, and PLC’s with their associated control networks.
Practical working knowledge of machine shop tools, welding and fabrication equipment.
Power transmission, motor, gearbox, couplings and driveshafts
Existing equipment upgrades and new equipment installations
Collaborate to reduce the cost of equipment part inventories and help ensure correct levels of critical spares
Work with others to operate as a productive and efficient team
