About The Position

The Electrician II position is a full-time role responsible for the maintenance and repair of various electrical systems and equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, intercom systems, fire alarm systems, medical gas alarm systems, Translogic controls, trash/linen chute controls, motor controls, lighting systems, electrical motors, emergency generators, power distribution normal/emergency systems, clock controls, and uninterruptible power supply systems. The role requires the ability to understand technical instructions, cooperate with other maintenance personnel and departments, and familiarity with equipment and building codes, including NEC 70 National Electrical Code.

Requirements

Two (2) years technical training on electrical power systems or at least five (5) years work experience
Ability to understand technical instructions
Ability to cooperate and coordinate work with other maintenance personnel or departments
Familiarity with equipment and building codes
Familiarity with NEC 70 National Electrical Code
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to climb ladders
Ability to distinguish colors and sounds
Ability to bend and kneel
Ability to communicate clearly
